A brief about the ice industry
The ice industry originated as a natural result of the intense heat and high humidity for most of the year, and ice was used to cool water and preserve various foods. With the development of the ice industry, it has been used in other areas such as in ready-mix companies to cool concrete, and various types of ice are used for decoration and entertainment.
Who are we?
Al-Jassar Ice Factories are among the first ice production factories in Kuwait, and currently they are the leading and largest factories in ice production in all its forms (with a daily production capacity estimated at 308 tons of blocks, 400 tons of cubes, and 500 kg of crystal blocks). Al-Jassar Ice Factories consist of 3 factories:
Al-Jassar Ice Factory, established in 1968, located in the Third Industrial Shuwaikh Area, Block (A), Plot 189/190.
2- Al-Sahara Ice Factory, established in 1997, located in the Doha Ashairij Area, Plot 41.
3- Ice House Factory, established in 2008, located in the Third Industrial Shuwaikh Area, Block (D), Plot 35.
